Gucci Spring/Summer 2027 unfolds as a world of contrasting identities, where Demna reshapes the house’s codes into a provocative dialogue between heritage, desire and individuality.

For Spring/Summer 2027, Demna does not simply present a new Gucci. He opens its doors.

Staged inside an immense reconstruction of a Gucci boutique, the collection transforms the idea of the store into a metaphor for the house itself: a space where identities, desires and contradictions coexist. Rather than choosing one definition of Gucci, Demna allows its many faces to appear at once.

Equestrian references meet Milanese tailoring. Prep becomes rebellious. Rugby shirts, tartan, leather and horsebit details collide with sharply cut tailoring and sensual eveningwear. The vocabulary of the house is familiar, yet nothing feels entirely preserved. Everything has been moved, distorted and given another attitude.

There is a particular tension between control and excess. The silhouettes are often precise, close to the body and deliberately composed, while the styling introduces something more instinctive — chains, exposed skin, oversized textures, low-slung proportions and references to the provocative glamour of the 1990s.

What makes the collection compelling is its refusal to create a single Gucci woman or man. Instead, Demna constructs a cast of characters, each carrying a different fragment of the house's mythology. They do not necessarily belong together, and that is precisely why they work.

The store becomes the perfect setting for this idea. Fashion is ultimately where fantasy becomes personal. We enter a house, choose what speaks to us, and leave wearing a version of its identity as our own.

Spring/Summer 2027 feels like Demna's invitation to do exactly that.
